REGULAR EVENTS

Coffee: Wednesday 12 February 10am at Arcado Lounge.

Lunch: Wednesday 19 February 12 noon at Pinnochios restaurant, Christchurch.

Walk: Tuesday 18 February 10am meet at Tuckton tea gardens to walk to Hengistbury Head across the meadows, non-walkers welcome for coffee at the Hungry Hiker 10:45. Any queries contact Chris Foot.

Book Club:  Friday 14 February 10:30 room 4 Christchurch Library, to discuss ‘Three Things About Elsie’. Any queries contact Carol Gannicott .

Project Club: Thursday 20 February 2pm  to make origami. Maximum 6 persons, please contact Wendy Carter

A summer river cruise and BBQ from Tuckton tea gardens and a talk, tour and cream tea at Highcliffe Castle to be arranged for later this year. Further details to follow.

25 March 10:30am – 4pm a poetry workshop and lunch at County House Poundbury, cost £10 to include tea/coffee and ploughmans lunch. Further details and application forms in the Information folder.

28 March 10am – 4pm Spring Crafts workshop at Carey Village Hall, Wareham. Cost £20 to include tea/coffee, bring ruler, pencil, pointed scissors and packed lunch. Further details and forms in Info folder.

28 April 2 – 4pm Delegates Briefing meeting, Durweston Village Hall, Blandford Forum. Cost £2. Further info in Information folder and on the back of WI News.

29 April coach trip to Forde Abbey. Cost £25 to include coach transport with pickup in Christchurch. Further details and forms in Info folder and on back of WI news. Restaurant lunch can be booked or bring your own. Board available. Final booking at last payments by March members meeting please.

15 May 1:30 – 4pm Forest Group party at Highcliffe Methodist Church Hall. Cost £5 to include ploughman’s lunch, entertainment by ‘The Land Girls’, competition (an animal made from vegetables) and raffle. Optional dress theme 1940. 12 members only, board available. Draw will be made if requests exceed 12.

16 June coach trip to Chavenage House, Tetbury (Trenwith from Poldark). Cost £45 to include coach trip, guided tour and lunch. Nearest coach pickup in Wimborne. Application form on back of Dorset WI News.
